yeah originally I figured there would be like maybe 15 skaters total, but more guys are getting into it and starting up. There are only like 8 guys who are decent at it, the rest are starting up. But yeah the park is actually pretty great. I've had a coupe rides in it, only one good sized transfer, but a few boxes and lots of areas where you can combo stuff and mix it up. its a good park for manuals.

well I don't exactly have too many bikers. Most are all skaters, and the ones who are bmx riders are either crap or they are pot smokers. I do have another street rider who is pretty good, but he is like 19 and I've never actually ridden with him. So that leaves me and a few other mtn bikers but they dont have slick tires yet and I have ridden more skateparks than them and I ride more, but they are still good company. But in terms of sill here not many people really take like park/street/dirtjumping seriously. But hey, they got us a skatepark, that's all I care.

all bikes except bmx are banned, including with slicks. I figured if you use slicks though it might buy you some time. I am not too sure on the date...but its definately on a weekend, or else the whole school would skip to ride.

bad news. They had a recent meating and banned mountain bikes. Apparently some jackasses with knobbies came in and tracked rocks and dirt into the bowl and throughout the park and made big ass skit marks, so they just said screw it and banned everyone. I was pissed. They aren't going to solve the problem, it's just going to force the mtn bikers to sneak in instead of abiding by the rules. Anyway I'm going to ride it regardless, as long as you have slicks they might give you some slack. The grand opening next year is like May 4th or something.

umm yeah its not horribly heavy. its aluminum, and it hops around nicely. Most of the Skate park should be done by mid-week this week, but it wont be all done until next summer, they are just finishing some then shutting down for the winter. they have a section open already which I've ridden, its pretty sweet. they are 30k short still, but hopefully by next summer it will be all wrapped up

umm a gary fisher GED. it's not really good, I picked it up at the Toronto bike show a couple years ago, I don't like it. I am saving for a 2009 santa cruz jackal

lol I've only seen one once in my life and that was for like a second in the parking lot of C.O.P. anyway the guy replied, he said he was firm on the new price and if he didn't get that price then he is just going to keep it. it kinda sucks becuase as it is I would be saving like a mad man to get it for the original price we agreed on, so now it's lookin slim. I may work something out with the parents to see if I can get a loan.

hey well it's comin. I am having some trouble with this guy, he is selling his Demo 7 and me and him kinda agreed on a price, but then later he got accepted to some college in British Columbia so now he needs $500 more than what we had agreed on, and I was really close to going to Montreal to pick it up but when we talked, he said he wasn't sure if he was going to sell it and stuff. So good news is he's selling it, bad news is he wants more for it now. So I am waiting for a reply from him to see if we can agree on a lower price. Anyway how's things on your end?

umm slcik I'm assuming nothing with monster treads on it, like I have holy rollers and I think they are allowed in, hookworms or anything that is like a bmx tread should be allowed. it isn't supervised though, like the cops will make routine trips through but noone is there at all times (well they haven't mentioned it anyway) so im sure even iof you have a little bit of tread you could sneek it for a day. umm no pics yet, but i will prob take one when they have it finished.

ok the pizza pizza is just across from the LCBO now, just on the other side of the road. So, from the LCBO, you cross the river and if you're headin up the hill just on the other side of the river on your left is the post office. Well behind the post office there is a little park, and at the back of the park is the skatepark. Its supposed to be done before snowfall.

the skatepark is right down by the post office. or across the river from the LCBO and the pizza pizza. there is a little park there, and sorta near the back of it is the skatepark. i would just build jumps but all the guy i ride with arent up to the level to hit 6 foot tall doubles.

well ususally i just scope the downtown area. there aren't any real dirt jumps. there is one sorta 4x type track back in the woods but its hard to explain where it is. its not that great anyway. but yeah in terms of jumps we got shit. urban is the only stuff. there is a skate-park going up that looks ride worthy, even though theres no bikes you can still ride there.

sorry dude, there is absolutely nothing in bacnroft in terms of north shore and jumps. however there is a network of trails in bracebridge which is not too far away that has some pretty good stuff. i am hopefully going to build some north shore this summer, so i will let you know when i get them done
